Customer responsibilities

  • LOLER inspections are current where applicable

  • PUWER compliance

  • Candidates are fit for training

Training may be stopped if unsafe conditions are identified.

Bookings

Bookings are confirmed once agreed by email or written confirmation.

Payments

Payment terms will be agreed before training delivery.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to withhold certificates until payment is received.

Cancellations

​

Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation charge.

LP MHE Training may reschedule training due to:

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Equipment failure

  • Illness

  • Events outside our control

Certification

Certificates are issued only to candidates meeting required standards.

Additional training may be recommended where necessary.

Liability

Training Booking Terms

LP MHE Training reserves the right to refuse certification where standards are not met.

Payment terms

​​

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Payment is due within 5 days of invoice

  • Certificates may be withheld until payment is received

  • LP MHE Training reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998

​

Cancellations

​​

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Typical charges may include:

  • 50% fee with 24–48 hours notice

  • 100% fee with less than 24 hours notice

This covers lost instructor time and travel costs.

​​

Late payment

​​

LP MHE Training reserves the right to charge:

  • Statutory interest

  • Debt recovery costs

  • Administration fees

For overdue invoices where necessary.

​​

Travel charges

​

Travel is normally included within agreed areas.

LP MHE Training reserves the right to charge additional travel costs for:

  • Long distance locations

  • Overnight stays

  • Special travel arrangements

These will always be agreed in advance.

Delegate substitution

Customers may substitute delegates before training without charge provided:

  • The substitute is suitable for the course

  • The correct details are provided before training

  • Training ratios are not exceeded

 

Failed candidates

​

Where candidates do not meet the required standard, additional training may be recommended and charged separately.

​

Unsafe conditions

​

LP MHE Training reserves the right to stop training immediately if unsafe conditions are identified.

Full charges may still apply where training cannot continue due to site safety issues.
